Thank you to Carvers, our Sugar Daddy! Please support them.

Special crafts will be offered on Friday mornings from 10:00 am - 10:30 am. The museum will present a different craft opportunity each week. The craft time is appropriate for preschool through elementary age children and pre-registration is not required. Museum members do not pay a fee. However, non-museum members must pay admission to the museum to participate in the craft.

February 2006

  • February 24 - make your own CD-ROM fish. This colorful tropical fish can be hung from the ceiling and spins like a light-refracting mobile. Small cutting will be done for little ones, so this craft can accomodate preschool through elementary age children.
The Museum could use old CDs for this craft. They can't be broken, but scratched or colored will work fine.

March 2006

  • March 3 - Castle Craft. In keeping with the introduction of new exhibit components to the Dinosaurs theme, we invite you and your child to construct your very own castle.
  • March 10 - for all the princesses out there, we offer you the opportunity to build your own tiara.
  • March 17 - celebrate St. Patrick's Day by creating your own snake to chase away all day long.
  • March 24 - one must celebrate St. Patrick's Day as often as possible, so join us in making your very own lucky rainbow and pot o' gold to wish upon.
  • March 31 - learn about Chinese culture and the Chinese New Year celebration while you create your own dancing dragon toy.
