Who's Your DADDY! Street Fest
This is our fifth annual DADDY event to raise money for the Discovery Museum at the Powerhouse! DADDY is an all day street festival that will include live music, food, and family fun activities! We need your help to make this year the best yet!
Great opportunity for community service and service groups.
Volunteers needed for set-up, clean-up, and activity booths.

A huge thanks to all of our volunteers for the 2008 Who’s Your Daddy! street festival. This year’s event was extremely successful, raising over $30,000 for Durango Discovery Kids and the Discovery Museum at the Powerhouse! We absolutely could not have made this happen if it weren’t for our hard working volunteers, from our 7am “early birders” who helped set up to the “middayers” who stood in the hot hot sun and our “night owls” who stayed until the bitter end helping clean-up. Each and every volunteer took part in helping to ensure our beloved museum will thrive for many years and many more Who’s Your Daddys to come!

Volunteer Opportunity

Volunteer Benefits

1. Complimentary 1-Year membership for 15 hours contributed over an 8-week period. Please let us know when you've completed those hours.

2. Free admission for your children to the museum during your volunteer shift.

3. Invitation to a yearly Volunteer Appreciation Party.

4. Quarterly newsletter that provides advance notice of upcoming exhibits, programs and events.

5. Utilize and develop your personal and career skills while helping to improve the museum.

6. Work with children to help them learn and experience their world.
