Thank you to Carvers, our Sugar Daddy! Please support them.

We depend solely on private funding through memberships, fundraising events, and donations from individuals and organizations. The present space is very limiting for exhibits and activities. An effort is underway to secure the historic powerhouse on the Animas River for an expanded facility. With five times the space of the current location, the new Durango Discovery Museum will focus on the science of light, power and energy, and have more space for larger exhibits, traveling exhibits, workshops, activities, and programs.

We provide documentation for your donations!

The Children's Museum of Durango relies on community support for the financial health of our organization. Please know your donation will be used responsibly - it has positive effects on many children and their families. We want you to take great pride in your contribution to our achievements.

No goods or services were provided by the Children's Museum of Durango in return for your contribution and your gift is tax-deductible as allowed by law. Please contact us for a letter for your tax advisor.
